LED light. Next comes red light, which is known to calm the skin and support its natural repair process. It helps your skin feel soothed and comfortable before and after we work.

What to expect after: 

Most clients have light redness, like a mild sunburn, plus some tightness or dryness for a day or two. Your skin may feel a little rough or flaky as it renews. If your makeup sits better on a good skin day, this facial is for you. Dermaplaning gently removes dead skin cells and fine peach fuzz with a sterile surgical blade, so your skin looks brighter and feels soft and smooth right away. Then I follow with the Korean skincare approach I specialize in: a thorough cleanse, hydrating layers, and nourishing products that leave your skin calm, plump, and dewy, not dry or tight.

This is a great option if your skin looks dull, feels rough, or has dry flaking, or if your products never seem to absorb. Removing that buildup lets your serums and moisturizers work better. It’s also a good “reset” before an event, a photo shoot, or a trip.

• Not recommended with active breakouts, sunburn, or certain skin conditions. If you’re not sure, ask me and we’ll find the right treatment for you.

• Peach fuzz does not grow back thicker or darker. That’s a myth.
